James Dean was an American actor with a career that only lasted five years yet his fame is even more popular today than it was in his peak. He is regarded as a cultural icon of teenage disillusionment and social estrangement, as expressed in the title of his most celebrated film Rebel Without a Cause. James Dean posed leaning with his hand on a fence post while filming a scene for "Giant", 1955. Giant was the last of James Dean's three films as a leading actor and earned him his second and last Academy Award nomination- Shortly after completing the film, he drove off in his silver Porsche to compete in a sports car rally in Salinas, California. Speeding down the highway, he crashed headlong into a Ford sedan and was killed instantly. This art piece will be shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.
